blackie to stand in for Besiktas at DreamHack Open Rotterdam

Besiktas have announced the temporary addition of Steven "⁠blackie⁠" Groeneveld to their roster for DreamHack Open Rotterdam.

The 20-year-old will step into the team as a replacement for Meyssa "⁠Missa⁠" Bellouati, who has recently been removed from the active lineup.

blackie will momentarily join Besiktas for the event from Asterion, who have given the player the go-ahead to compete in Besiktas colours. Meanwhile, Asterion, who are also attending the event, will be fielding Thomas "⁠Thomas⁠" Utting and Joseph "⁠Luzuh⁠" Loose, the UK duo they qualified for the tournament with.

Besiktas, who earned their place at DreamHack Open Rotterdam by winning the all-women DreamHack Showdown, will kick off the Dutch event against AVANGAR in Group A on Friday at 12:00 .

The $100,000 event is set to take place from October 18-20, with Besiktas fielding the following roster:
