Besiktas have announced the temporary addition of Steven "blackie" Groeneveld to their roster for DreamHack Open Rotterdam.
The 20-year-old will step into the team as a replacement for Meyssa "Missa" Bellouati, who has recently been removed from the active lineup.
blackie will momentarily join Besiktas for the event from Asterion, who have given the player the go-ahead to compete in Besiktas colours. Meanwhile, Asterion, who are also attending the event, will be fielding Thomas "Thomas" Utting and Joseph "Luzuh" Loose, the UK duo they qualified for the tournament with.
Besiktas, who earned their place at DreamHack Open Rotterdam by winning the all-women DreamHack Showdown, will kick off the Dutch event against AVANGAR in Group A on Friday at 12:00 .
The $100,000 event is set to take place from October 18-20, with Besiktas fielding the following roster:
